Note: This page reference "chantry rating" this is the Chantry background. Status is a background as well.

Through a series of night rides on the Metro Lightrail, several tradition magi received a cryptic message from the Sphinx. Following their instinct and curiosity one by one they found themselves in another dimension. The first major discovery was the painting of Oliver Emrys. Oliver claims to be the butler of Master Ambrose, the head of the Ambrose family that once occupied Almerry House, as they haven't been seen since 1854. When questioned about the location of Almerry House, Oliver stated, "The sixth star to the left and 37 degree declination to Eridani A."

Many mysteries still remain around Oliver whom seems aware he is a sentient painting but unaware of how he came to be. He is aware he was painting one night, and the next day Master Ambrose found him and hung him on the throne room wall, where he was discovered by our founding magi. Counselor Caressa Sylvestre gave the following prophecy while discussing Oliver, "In the dark and covered place, the rainbow of doom was found. And there sealed the fate of the unsuspecting." This truth of this prophecy has yet to be uncovered.

Furio established the anchor allow for the tradition magi to easy move to and from Almerry House as they continue to explore the estate of which there are still many mysteries to uncover.

Membership Privileges

Almerry House is a three-story castle with a basement and attic. The level of a mage's membership and status dictate what they have access to within the castle.

First Floor is available to all tradition magi whether or not they are a full member of the chantry. Magi with a Chantry 0-2 rating are restricted to this floor. Some rooms on this floor may be further restricted by Status rating.

Second Floor is available to Tradition magi who are mid-level members (Chantry stat 3-4). Some rooms on this floor may be further restricted by Status rating.

Third Floor is available to Tradition magi the chantry founders, and full chantry members (Chantry 5). Some rooms on this floor may be further restricted by Status rating.

Disclaimer: A mage may be invited into levels they would not normally have access to for plot purposes, or may be summoned by a higher ranking mage. Contact staff if in doubt or have questions.

Personal Rooms/Sanctums

Magi with Chantry and Status rating 3+ may apply to a Suite of rooms on a floor they have access to. As a mage increases in these ranks they may apply to have suite moved to another floor and/or add a room.

Most of the red named rooms in current build may be claimed, renamed and redescribed, so please submit your +buildreq with the name and location of the room you want to take over as your main room. Any additional rooms will need to be built.

The below room limits assume a base Status of 3.
Chantry 3 - limited to a 1 room suite
Chantry 4 - limited to a 2 room suite
Chantry 5 - limited to a 3 room suite

Status 4 - will grant you 1 additional room.
Status 5 - will grant you 1 additional room, a secret passage, or some a coded "perk" at ST discretion.

Regarding Retainers

If any individual mage brings their consor or retainers with them into Almerry House, they are held to the same restricts as their mage.

There are Chantry Retainers which are NPCs that have been vetted and oath bound by the founders. These retainers have access to all levels of the castle, though not necessarily to every room.
