PLEASE BE SURE, when you copy this information into your main character page to change any mention of 'Your name here' to whatever your character name is. Change the page name to your character name. Fill in the Full name of your character as well. Example: It should become something like Marty/Layout and Page name = Marty. (don't worry if the link says template). Save.
Then right-click on the top link that should read something like Template: Marty/Layout. Open this in a new tab. On this screen, click the edit tab at the top, scroll to the very bottom and find Template 2/layout, click the edit link beside this. You can open this in a new tab too to make it easier. Copy paste Template 2/layout, into your character template page. In our example that is the page called Template: Marty/Layout. Change all instances of YOURNAMEHERE to your character name. Letter case does matter in wiki, be sure to always Capitalize your name. Save.
You should now be able to close all generic template pages and focus on your character page. Go back to you main character page. Click the red links to create and start each section. Save often.
Need more help, please contact staff. Any of the strange looking links seen at the bottom of the page in the samples will be corrected when the above instructions are followed. I know the editlink bit looks strange on this page. See [[]]'s page for how it should actually show on your page if done correctly. (see the little editlink at the bottom of each section?)
